With the World Health Organization (WHO) confirming the outbreak of COVID-19 as a pandemic, Technimove continues to monitor the situation to ensure all business operations continue to run as smoothly as possible whilst taking into account the health and safety of our staff, clients and partners.
Technimove has taken the steps to appoint a Pandemic Co-Ordinator (Tony Barrett) who has been thoroughly monitoring the situation of the virus and is keeping up-to-date with advice from the WHO, Department of Health & Social Care (DHSC) and Public Health England (PHE).
Technimove already has a well-established Business Continuation Plan which has been in place for over 5 years and has been tested annually. With this in place, Technimove has the ability to operate without use of office facilities and to continue to provide services, although possibly at a reduced level. This BCP has been adapted due to the COVID-19 outbreak and has been tested within the last 2 weeks to ensure the business can still, as things stand, operate ‘as usual’.
In regards to COVID-19 specifically and in line with PHE recommendations, Technimove has put in place increased H&S procedures which includes daily cleaning of office surfaces and interiors of vehicles. We have also purchased a large quantity of anti-bacterial wipes, hand wash and 100s of hand sanitizers to reduce the risk to our staff, clients and partners.
Technimove will continue to monitor regular advice from WHO, Department of Health & Social Care (DHSC) and Public Health England (PHE) and we will update our guidance appropriately as the situation develops.
