In the picturesque setting of Bisley, Technimove had the pleasure of hosting a unique and unforgettable day for our esteemed partners at Softcat. The occasion? A day of camaraderie, skill-building, through the art of clay pigeon shooting.
The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the promise of a hearty breakfast set the stage for what was to be a day filled with excitement and team building.
Matt Clark and Gareth Meyer, the hosts from Technimove, greeted each attendee, setting a tone of camaraderie and gratitude from the outset solidifying the partnership shared between Technimove and Softcat.
With spirits high, the group divided into random teams, each member ready to get stuck into a day of skill and precision.
Before the shooting commenced, safety took centre stage. Personal safety tuition was provided, ensuring that every participant felt confident and secure in handling the equipment and navigating the shooting range.
Under the expert guidance of seasoned instructors, participants received personalised one-on-one training, from mastering the proper stance to perfecting the art of aiming.
As the first clays soared through the sky, with keen focus and steady hands, they took aim and unleashed their shots. Traps and angles were conquered with a lot of relish!
But the true test of skill came with the mass “flush” shoot, where participants were challenged to unleash their firepower in rapid succession. Armed with a box of cartridges each, they embraced the challenge.
Amidst the activity, camaraderie flourished as teammates cheered each other on. When the dust settled, it was not just the winning team who emerged victorious, but every participant who had embraced the spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship.
As the day drew to a close, the days outstanding participants were honoured at the post-shooting awards, where the winning team proudly accepted their trophy.
Retiring to the fabulous lodge at Bisley, participants enjoyed some delicious food and drinks. Amidst the conversations, relationships were strengthened, Making the day a true celebration of partnership.
