- Engineers conducted a comprehensive live wireless site survey across the full 2,512 m² floorplan, capturing signal strength, SNR, interference, data rates, and throughput.
- Survey heatmaps clearly identified where and why the existing network was underperforming.
Predictive‑First Network Design
- Using Ekahau AI Pro with Sidekick, Technimove modelled wall attenuation, building fabric, and RF behaviour to design a fully optimised Wi‑Fi environment before any changes were implemented.
- This ensured the design was tailored precisely to the building – not a generic template.
Optimised Wi‑Fi 6 Architecture
- A new Wi‑Fi 6 network was designed using 5 × Meraki MR46 access points, strategically positioned to provide consistent coverage and seamless roaming.
- Channel planning was engineered to:
- Minimise co‑channel interference on 2.4 GHz
- Exploit the flexibility of the 5 GHz spectrum using non‑overlapping channels
- Minimum data rates were set at 12 Mbps across all bands, directly eliminating sticky client issues and improving performance for all users.
